Manhattan Beach

So 2014 is off to a good start with my photography, had a great shoot out on Manhattan beach in early January. Click on continue to read more..Arrived at the location on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by extremely thick fog in which I could not see the end of the pier from the entrance. Certain the shoot was going to fail because of the weather I decide to take a stroll along the pier anyway and check out the location some more for a follow up another time. from the end of the pier I could not see the beach the fog was so thick, and then.. in the time it took me to walk back to the entrance and down to the shoreline it cleared!! all in the space of about 10 minutes and I was left with my first beautiful sky of the year.

It was difficult not to take a good shot that evening on Manhattan Beach, in going from disappointment to excitement because of the rapid change in weather and the low tide I got some really great images of one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in a while.
