As some of you may know I do have a facebook group for my work, but as I've been updating my images and websites recently I have decided to move the facebook group for my images over to a fan page (Link below). This will hopefully enhance the user experience for you all and give me more flexibility with posting and documenting my work on the site, and also give me some helpful tools in marketing my products. More new photography coming soon but in the meantime here's one I took in the last few minutes of daylight on christmas day 2011, while out on a hike 3000ft up Echo mountain -- Altadena , California.

This was taken with my Leica X1, and for those who know the camera know its technically a point and shoot so it doesn't have any way (as a stock unit)  to attach filters and lens hoods. As I was out that day I used my bolle polarized sunglasses as filter. The image you see above is result of me holding my shades up over my lens, pretty much no post production in this shot, except for sharpening and levels. The optics are really good on them glasses and I love the colors it gave me with this sunset -- I am looking forward to trying this out again soon :)
